Tikis Grill & Bar - A hip, open-air restaurant with a retro South
Pacific design and experience, feature a menu highlighting the
flavor of the islands prepared in an open exhibition kitchen.
Stepping into Tikis Grill & Bar is like stepping back in time, when
life was simpler and carefree. Tikis has the charm and aura of the
old tiki bars from the 1950s and 60s. The interior features palm
wood flooring, fish nets hanging from the ceiling, with rock, plus
50 hand-carved masks, statues and war clubs from different regions
around the Pacific and original framed art flanking the dining room
walls. Tikis offers lanai seating with beautiful sunsets on Kuhio
Beach. A 30-foot, man made volcano is the showpiece in the bar,
where pupu, tropical drinks and refreshing cocktails are served. A
section of the dining room can be partitioned for diners who want to
host an 80-seat private party. An open area for large parties is
also available. Tikis menu celebrates the flavors and ingredients of
the islands. Tempting signature appetizers include Coconut Shrimp,
Calamari Katsu and Kalua Pig Quesadillas. Among the enticing entrees
diners may enjoy are Tikis Shrimp Penne, Tikis Signature Salmon
glazed with special seasonings and caramelized cane sugar and served
with a lemon grass beurre blanc sauce, mashed Molokai sweet potatoes
and Asian slaw Grilled Daily Catch topped with a spicy seafood salsa
and served with chili-scented rice Braised Beef Short Ribs with
hoisin demi-glace and served with corn mashed potatoes and a
Hawaiian Plate featuring kalua pig, lau lau, lomi salmon, ahi poke,
and coconut haupia. Tikis also offers a keiki (children) menu with
keiki-friendly entrees served on a frisbee. The average check per
person is $10 at lunch and $23 at dinner. The restaurant appeals to
residents and visitors alike and draws the late-night crowd with
live contemporary Hawaiian entertainment.
Cold Stone Creamery -
At Cold Stone, their super-premium ice cream, waffle cones, and
brownies are made fresh daily. Every ice cream creation are made to
order by blending in your choice of 40 brand-name mix-ins, like
Snickers®, Oreos®, M&Ms®, brownies, pecans, or caramel, to create
The Ultimate Ice Cream Experience®. Blending of the ice cream and
mix-ins are mixed on a frozen granite stone (the Cold Stone!) which
is kept at a chilling minus-14° F., and served in a fresh-baked
waffle cone or bowl. Create your own ultimate recipe or try one of
the Cold Stones originals: Apple Pie A La Cold Stone™,
Germanchäkolätekäke™ or Paradise Found™ with white chocolate ice
cream, macadamia nuts, coconut, pineapple and bananas.

- This restaurant is located on the ground floor of the ResortQuest
