Restaurants
Fish & Poi Restaurant - Noted Maui restaurateurs, Mike and Dana Pastula, who operate two other award-winning restaurants on the island, The Maalaea Grill and Cafe OLei in Lahaina, have opened all-new Fish & Poi Restaurant. Fish & Poi serves delicious Pacific cuisine with specialties that feature island fish, prime rib, and pasta, all prepared using the freshest island ingredients. This new restaurant is tastefully decorated, moderately priced, and offers pleasing views of the ocean and the resorts peaceful garden and koi pond.

Old Lahaina Luau - This much complimented luau and Polynesian show is a feast for the senses. Located oceanfront at 1251 Front Street in Lahaina.

Sansei n- One of the best-loved restaurants on the island, Sansei is Japanese with a Hawaiian twist. Inspired dishes include panko-crusted ahi (panko are Japanese bread crumbs), spicy fried calamari, mango-and-crab-salad roll, and a decadent foie gras nigiri (served on rice without seaweed) sushi. Desserts often use local fruit the Kula-persimmon creme brulee is stunning. The new location in Kihei is a popular karaoke hangout, serving late-night sushi at half price. -- Fodors.com

The Gazebo Restaurant - Oceanfront Gazebo Restaurant offers marvelous views of Napili Bay and the islands of Molokai and Lanai. Macadamia nut pancakes are our specialty. Located at Outrigger Napili Shores.

Plantation House Restaurant - Its hard to decide which is better here, the food or the view. Hills, grassy volcanic ridges lined with pine trees, and fairways that appear to drop off into the ocean provide an idyllic setting. The specialty is fresh island fish prepared according to different "tastes" -- Upcountry Maui, Asian-Pacific, Provence, and others. The breeze through the large shuttered windows can be cool, so you may want to bring a sweater or sit by the fireplace. -- Fodors.com

The Banyan Tree - Named the "Best Restaurant on Maui" by the readers of Maui No Ka Oi magazine, The Banyan Tree creates a memorable dining experience matched by views of Molokai and the Pailolo Channel.
